Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 March 2026
DynamicQ ("the Platform") is operated by Yahya Dynamic (ABN 40 365 504 162) ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of teachers, students, parents, and school administrators who use our Platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Australian law.
This policy complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. What Data We Collect
Teacher Accounts
- Display name (chosen by the teacher โ not required to be a legal name)
- Email address (for account recovery and communications)
- Teaching preferences (year levels, subjects, preferred question types)
- Generated content history (worksheets, tests, lesson packs)
Student Profiles
- First name or chosen display name only
- Learning preference labels (e.g., "structured learner", "focus support", "visual-first learner")
- Progress indicators (direction of travel only โ green/amber/red per topic)
What We NEVER Collect
- Student legal/full names
- Dates of birth
- Government-issued identification numbers
- Medical diagnoses or disability labels
- Medical records or health information
- Behavioural incident records
- Family or custody information
- Photographs of students (unless voluntarily provided for avatar creation with explicit parental consent)
Our system uses preference-based labels, not medical or diagnostic labels. A student's profile might describe them as a "structured learner" or needing "focus support" โ never "Autism" or "ADHD".
2. Children's Privacy
We take children's privacy seriously. For students under the age of 13:
- Accounts are created by a teacher or parent โ never by the child directly.
- Only a username and PIN are used for access. No email address is required or collected.
- No personal information beyond first name and learning preferences is stored.
- Student data is never shared with third parties.
- Student data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data solely for the following purposes:
- Generating personalised educational content (worksheets, tests, lesson packs)
- Adapting content difficulty and presentation to learner preferences
- Providing progress tracking for teachers and parents
- Processing payments (via Stripe โ see Section 7)
- Sending service-related communications (account updates, feature announcements)
- Improving the Platform's educational content and user experience
4. No Student Data Sent to AI APIs
Student names, profiles, and personal data are never sent to external AI services (including Google Gemini or any other large language model API). AI services are used only for content presentation wrapping โ the mathematical and educational content is generated entirely by our own verified engine. Student-identifiable data remains on our own infrastructure at all times.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored in Google Cloud Sydney (australia-southeast1). Your data does not leave Australia.
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit).
- Access to production systems is restricted and logged.
- We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
6. No Advertising Use
We do not use any collected data โ teacher or student โ for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers. We do not display advertisements on the Platform.
7. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe (stripe.com). We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or other payment card data on our systems. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS Level 1 standards. For Stripe's privacy practices, see stripe.com/au/privacy.
8. AI Content Disclosure
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to assist in generating educational content. Specifically:
- Mathematics and computational subjects: All answers are verified by symbolic mathematics software (SymPy). AI is used only for presentation wrapping, not for generating answers.
- English, History, and humanities subjects: Content is AI-generated and labelled as such. We recommend teacher review before classroom use.
- All generated documents include a disclosure indicating they were created with AI assistance.
9. Data Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- Stripe: For payment processing (teacher/parent payment data only).
- Google Cloud: As our infrastructure provider (data processing agreement in place).
- Law enforcement: If required by Australian law or court order.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share student data with any third party for any reason other than as required by law.
10. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data. We will complete erasure within 30 days of a verified request.
- Complaint: Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the Privacy Act.

- Student data (when a teacher closes their account): orphaned student records are deleted within 90 days.
- Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Australian taxation law, then deleted.
11. Cookies and Tracking
The Platform uses only essential cookies required for the service to function (e.g., login session). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking service.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
